Volunteering isn’t about giving your time; it’s about cultivating friendships, a sense of accomplishment, learning new skills and being a contributing member of society.
Volunteering is vital in gaining knowledge, skills and expanding your network. I would not be in my role today if it were not for MPI.
One of the most significant sources of inspiration for my volunteerism is the opportunity to effect positive change. Every act of service, no matter how small, has the potential to create a meaningful and lasting impact.
I began volunteering for MPI on my local chapter board in July 2014. Having returned to my home country Finland two years prior, joining the board helped quickly expanded my network across the industry.
Volunteering has always been more than just a way to pass the time for me; it's a heartfelt commitment to giving back and making a positive difference in my community.
