  Meeting professionals across the world participated in the international 
 day of advocacy in 2018 with more than 200 events held across 6 continents
 . This year the Tennessee meetings and events industry associations have c
 ome together to celebrate GMID 2019 in a way that addresses how we outward
 ly showcase our businesses and ourselves\, how we share our time and talen
 ts for important causes\, and how we take care of making sure we have a ba
 lanced life as event professionals. We will also toast to the day and our 
 industry in true Tennessee style!\n\nJoin ILEA\, MPI Tennessee\, NACE\, TB
 TA\, and TNSAE on&nbsp\;Thursday\, April 4th&nbsp\;as we celebrate across 
 the state:\n\n    Middle: main event location at the Tennessee Bankers Ass
 ociation\n    West: livestream event at Memphis Tourism -&nbsp\;registrati
 on information coming soon!\n\nWe are bringing Mark Galvin to kick off the
  program at 10am CST asking the question\,&nbsp\;How&rsquo\;s your ePresen
 ce?&nbsp\;After working on our outward-selves\, we will work on our giving
 -selves with a presentation from End Slavery Tennessee.&nbsp\;We will lear
 n ways to support this great cause within our industry. We will also be pr
 esenting a check from a portion of the proceeds of this meeting to assist 
 in fighting human trafficking in our state. Jesse Wayne Taylor will entert
 ain us as we transition from the service project to a tasty lunch and feed
 ing our inner-selves with a presentation by Kelly Treadway for&nbsp\;The B
 alanced Event Professional: From Harried to Healthy. To top it off\, we wi
 ll have a state-wide toast to our amazing industry!\n\n\nMake plans today
