Senior Companion Program is a peer-to-pee
r program where caring senior volunteers befriend homebound seniors in the
ir community. The program is designed to foster independence among seniors
by engaging them in community service\, providing them companionship oppo
rtunities\, and offer respite to both professional and family caregivers.<

PI THCC Community Outreach Committee is a resource to help us in our perso
nal lives. There is no greater joy than giving to those who are less fortu
nate whether it is a monetary gift or just the gift of our time and resour
ces. You don't have to be a Community Outreach Committee member to give\;
you just have to have a heart and a desire to know that incredible feeling
of knowing that you've made a difference in someone else's life.

y Christian Senior Services\, but is part of a national program called Sen
ior Corps. Senior Corps is a program of the Corporation for National and C
ommunity Service\, an independent federal agency created to connect Americ
ans of all ages and backgrounds with opportunities to give back to their c
ommunities and their nation.
