Since 2015 Molly has been the Director of Convention Sales for the Wil mington\, North Carolina Convention &\; Visitors Bureau primarily devel oping the growing Convention River District. Molly is a Past President of the MPI Carolinas Chapter and has served on multiple MPI committees &\; task forces on the International level\, currently serving on the Chapter &\; Membership Advisory Council and has been a trained facilitator in the MPI program since 2017. She has also as served on the Event Industry C ouncil Item Review Panel for several years developing questions found on t he current CMP exam. 2018-2019 she is serving on the PCMA Advocacy Task Fo rce. In the Wilmington community Molly is a Board Member for A Safe Place which is a local non-profit assisting victims of human trafficking with. F or the last six years she has worked as a victim advocate\, facilitates ho tel awareness training and does fundraising. The organization has grown to include an outreach center\, an emergency shelter and a transitional home . \n \n \n \n  \;\n \n \n \n \n \n \n  \;\n Deborah Richardson\n Executive Director\n The International Human Trafficking Institute\n \n \n \n Deborah Richardson is Executive Director of The Inter national Human Trafficking Institute. She has a 30 year track record in ad vocacy on women&rsquo\;s rights and economic empowerment for disenfranchis ed persons. In 2001\, Deborah convened a group of women who launched Atlan ta&rsquo\;s movement to address child sex trafficking.Their efforts to cre ate awareness on domestic child sex trafficking\, change laws\, and raise money to open the first safe house in the eastern United States\, sparked advocacy efforts that continue today. \; Deborah is a thought leader w ho has testified before Congress\, worked with more than 30 communities ac ross the United States on planning and executing their human trafficking i nitiatives\, spoken to numerous groups\, and written extensively about end ing human trafficking.
