What is WEC?

The World Education Congress is MPI’s signature event delivering premier education, business and networking opportunities. The event attracts nearly 3,000 attendees annually that range from corporate, third party and association planners to suppliers, students and industry faculty.

Our Theme for WEC

For WEC Grapevine, we are looking for speakers who can make our conference story and theme come alive — "Let’s Create Authentic Experiences”.

WEC Grapevine 2020

That’s why Grapevine, Texas is the perfect setting for MPI’s 2020 World Education Congress. It turns the notion of “big Texas” on its side and shows the genuine hospitality of the Lone Star State. Through modern, vibrant event education—combined with the unique charm of Grapevine—we’ll demonstrate what it means to produce the authenticity that people crave from meetings and events.

The result is a memorable, authentic experience unlike any other. Which is exactly what attendees expect from WEC.

What We Look For in a Proposal

Engagement and Experience are more than buzzwords at MPI; they’re an approach to adult learning that is proven to maximize the learner experience. When you're submitting your proposal, imagine that it is for an audience with a minimum 10 years of experience in the industry and aim for providing content that is relevant to people with more than 20 years in the industry. Our audience loves peer-to-peer learning, knowing what's next, staying ahead of the competition and being given opportunities to apply their knowledge.

Submit a speaker proposal. Notifications of status of submission(s) will start in January 2019.
