Hotel Goldener Hirsch, Salzburg, Austria

A renovation of the Hotel Goldener Hirsch, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Salzburg, Austria, has been completed. The hotel, located on the city’s historic Getreidegasse since 1407, offers 70 guest rooms and suites and a 612-year-old antique collection in a country house style. Five meeting rooms include the 600-square-foot Pink Salon, while dinners can be hosted in the Wine Cabinet and celebrations for up to 100 can be held in the Hunting Salon or the library.

Cambria Hotel Downtown, Phoenix

The new, 127-room Cambria Hotel Downtown Phoenix Convention Center in the Roosevelt Row Arts District is within walking distance of the convention center (offering 900,000 square feet of meeting and exhibition space), art galleries, shops and restaurants. The hotel can also accommodate meetings for 80 people.

Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel

The 419-room Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites has announced the official opening of its new restaurant, Mosaic Kitchen, Bar and Lounge, which is part of an extensive property renovation set to be finalized in early 2020. The new restaurant offers comforting dishes with a southern Ontario and global influence for up to 167 guests. The hotel features 33,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 10,000-square-foot ballroom.

Charlotte, N.C., has broken ground on a $126.9 million expansion of the Charlotte Convention Center. The expansion includes the addition of a pedestrian skybridge connecting the facility to the 700-room Westin Charlotte as well as 50,000 square feet of new meeting and event space. The facility will offer 600,000 total square feet when the expansion is complete in 2020.

The combined 750-room, all-inclusive Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana and Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana resorts recently debuted in the Dominican Republic with 45,000 square feet of functional meeting and event space including a 300-seat, open-air theater.

BENCHMARK will operate the first Margaritaville Resort in Texas. Scheduled to open the summer of 2020, the Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe-Houston, an all-suite resort, will feature 335 guest suites, a spa and 72,000 square feet or indoor and outdoor meeting space.

Best Western Plus The IvyWall Resort-Panglao opened recently in the Philippines with 80 guest rooms and three meeting rooms.
