Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch

The Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch has announced a renovation slated to be completed in early 2020. The $2.6 million renovation will update each of the hotel’s meeting venues, including pre-function foyers, ballrooms, breakout rooms and boardrooms. The project will complement the property’s previous $11 million renovation to its guest rooms, lobby and suites. The hotel features 910 guest rooms and 83,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space, including a 20,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom.

Le Germain Hotel Montreal   

Germain Hotels has announced the reopening of Le Germain Hotel Montreal following a year of renovations and an investment of more than $30 million. The transformation included guest rooms, the lobby, the restaurant and meeting spaces. Six new floors were added to the top of the building, increasing the number of guest rooms from 101 to 136. The hotel now offers three meeting spaces totaling nearly 3,000 square feet.

Holiday Inn Oceanfront at Surfside Beach (S.C.)

The Holiday Inn Oceanfront at Surfside Beach (S.C.) is nearing completion of an extensive $2 million renovation of its first-floor public space, restaurant and lounge. This follows a comprehensive $4 million renovation at the beachfront hotel that was completed in 2018, which included the remodeling of its 133 guest rooms, the remodeling of the outdoor pool and patio area and enhanced landscaping. The hotel offers 6,500 square feet of indoor meeting space.

More New & Renovated

The Curtis, a pop culture-infused lifestyle hotel located in the heart of downtown Denver, has announced today the completion of its newly refreshed lobby. Following a $1 million+ renovation, the redesigned space features “a playful and nostalgic take on the Colorado outdoors, incorporating modern furnishings, vibrant colors and Instagram-worthy décor.” The hotel offers 336 guest rooms that feature custom art installations and 28,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Isrotel, Israel’s leading hotel group, has announced the opening of its newest five-star property, Mitzpe Hayamim, following a $23 million renovation. This is the first new Isrotel hotel in the brand’s pipeline of 10 property launches spanning the next few years. The 115-key hotel set on 17 acres features meeting space for up to 150 people, an organic dairy farm, a spa and “sweeping views of the majestic Hula Valley and Sea of Galilee.”

Following a multimillion-dollar renovation, the newest addition to Hilton’s upper upscale Curio Collection, The Reach Key West (Fla.), recently debuted with 150 guest rooms and 4,000 square feet of indoor meeting space. The resort is positioned on the only natural sand beach in the southernmost tip of the continental U.S. in Key West.

Another oceanfront Florida Keys property, the 14-acre Postcard Inn Beach Resort & Marina, has debuted renovated and new meeting and event space, revealing a “completely refreshed Florida Keys experience.” The resort offers 151 guest rooms and suites and 130,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
