MPI Belgium partners with IACC to provide more opportunities for the meeting community to share expertise and learn.
Elina Jutelyte, MPI Belgium President, commented "We are privileged to have the opportunity to learn from our peers at IACC and understand the meeting industry from the venue perspective''
Mark Cooper, CEO of IACC, said: “We very much value our partners at MPI and enjoy a fruitful partnership helping meeting and event organisers from around the globe make connections and learn about the cutting-edge innovations they need to create world class events.”
MPI and IACC will join efforts to produce the IACC North Sea Copper Skillet culinary competition, which will showcase the quality of conference and meetings food within IACC member venues in Belgium. A distinct panel of nationally renowned judges will choose winners whom will prove worthy contestants of the Europe-wide finals of the competition taking place at the next IACC Europe Knowledge Festival on 4-6 October in Brussels.
At its core, the Copper Skillet is a statement to the industry that chefs within IACC member venues around the world represent the very best in culinary talent. As the role of food and beverage has significantly increased in meetings and events, IACC continues to lead the way; with the culinary competition having become a series of signature events around the globe which help to build a strong community of chef contestants, providing a showcase for them, whilst also engaging with thousands of meeting planners.
The Copper Skillet competition was introduced in 2004 to highlight the artistry and skill of the best chefs from IACC-member conference venues around the world and give recognition to their contributions to the shared goal of providing an outstanding conference venue experience.
