Spark Sessions

We will repeat each topic twice so that you have a chance to attend two different spark sessions with your peers.

Topic #1: Own Who You Are & Let Go of Who You're Not

In a world where everyone’s highlight reel is blasted over social media, it is more difficult than ever to feel confident in the way we were created, who we were designed to be and what we were put on this earth to do. If the comparison bug has ever bitten you, or if impostor syndrome seems to be a way of life for you, I would love to help you see breakthrough. Wouldn’t it be freeing to know that you don’t have to be great at everything and why? Using practical examples, I show you the power of operating in your natural gifts and talents, and just as importantly, how to release the pressure to be everything to everyone.

Facilitator: Kristin Frade is a wife, mom, business owner, and bundt cake lover. She’s also a sucker for some white queso! She has been teaching, training, and mentoring people for over a decade and built a business that landed her in the top 1% of her company. She is an expert in customizing communication and seeing people as individuals contributing to the betterment of the whole. Kristin thrives off of the "a-ha" moments people get when they hear her speak. Her coaching clients range from entrepreneurs to executives that are high performing, deeply committed individuals. They come to her to find clarity in where they are and where they want to be and then receive Kristin’s actionable items and accountability to get them there...faster. Kristin has a gift for seeing things that her clients don’t see for themselves and illuminating blind spots. Her life’s mission is to impact the masses, even if it’s one person at a time.

Topic #2 Hidden in Plain Sight

Human trafficking is the second largest criminal industry in the world and has become a multibillion-dollar business from selling human beings. Learn the ins and outs of this atrocious crime on global, national, and local scales. Find out who is being trafficked and how, along with the warning signs. This industry is barbaric, but there are ways for you to help. Figure out what you can do to combat this crime in your own community!

Facilitator: Alexa Nagy is the community outreach and development coordinator with Lily Pad Haven. With a communications background and a passion to fight human trafficking, she made it her mission to enter the nonprofit world to help human trafficking survivors integrate back into society. Alexa started volunteering with the organization two summers ago and landed a full-time role in August 2018, in which she handles community outreach, volunteer efforts, fundraising events and donor relations.
