This workshop gives event professionals the guidance to sharpen their social media tools and get their creative juices flowing! It is designed to develop the social media expertise of any event professional by focusing on common and universally applicable core concepts.

Through a guided approach that takes into account current social media trends, it empowers event professionals raise their profile and reputation of their organisation. Using easy-to-follow social media recipes (processes) this workshop enables participants to create a full cookbook (manual) filled with brand-aligned options for their social media content.Through this workshop, event professionals are able to create consistent social media content and online engagement that is perfectly suited to their target market.

About the speaker:
Miguel Neves CMP, DES
Chief Social Strategist at

Miguel has focused on online engagement in the events industry since 2009. From 2011 to 2017 he developed IMEX Group’s social media presence from a community of 3,000 to over 60,000 event professionals. In 2017 Miguel created to help event professionals develop a proactive and strategic presence on social media.
Miguel holds a masters degree in Conference and Events Management from the University of Westminster and sits on both Meeting Professionals International’s International Board of Directors and the Events Industry Council’s Industry Insights Committee.
