MPI Georgia 2026-2028 Strategic Plan

A message from our President Angie Ahrens:

Dear MPI Georgia Members,

The 2025 Board of Directors has been hard at work this year — creating networking opportunities, delivering valuable education, and helping you find that business edge we all seek. But beyond our day-to-day efforts, we’ve also been building something bigger: a Strategic Plan to guide the future of our chapter.

When I stood on stage at the 2024 Phoenix Awards, one of the commitments I made was to develop a long-term Strategic Plan. The purpose? To help us think forward as a chapter, to be intentional in how we design our programs, and to ensure the sustainability of both our membership and sponsorship efforts.

At our 2025 Annual Retreat, the Board, in partnership with our management team and a strategic planning consultant, came together to analyze insights from a comprehensive member survey. Many of you participated in that survey — and your voices directly shaped the direction we’re taking.

This Strategic Plan is more than a document — it’s a management tool that sets priorities, focuses energy and resources, strengthens operations, and ensures that leadership, volunteers, and staff are all aligned around shared goals. It allows us to assess progress, adapt to change, and stay focused on outcomes that matter.

In August, the final plan was approved by the Board of Directors, and now I’m proud to share it with you — because you were part of the process. Through your feedback, you helped identify our priorities, define what matters most, and reimagine how MPI Georgia can grow and thrive.

As part of this plan, we’re excited to unveil a refreshed Mission, Vision, and Core Values — along with strategic pillars that provide direction and flexibility for the next three years of leadership. The strategic pillars will be shared over the next few months: there will be a town hall for you to ask questions, you’ll learn about how this process was done in detail, and also hear about opportunities on how you can continue to be part of the process.

This is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter, and we’re thrilled to move forward — together.

With gratitude,

Angie Ahrens, CMP Fellow, CMM
