Carla Carroll Vice President - Strategic Events MPI Georgia Chapter

Just WOW – my role as Vice President of Strategic Events is coming to an end.  I have had the honor and privilege of serving in a leadership position for the Phoenix Awards and other strategic events for the past four years and what an incredible ride it has been. How excited are we to all come together for our next Phoenix Awards Gala on June 24^th at Guardian Works?  “Rooted in Excellence” is a theme we are excited to present to our membership – we have certainly tried to remain rooted through such a crazy year and MPI Georgia cannot wait to celebrate our members and their successes in person this year! 

During my time with MPI Georgia we have had the honor of national recognition, our membership has flourished, our leaders have been able to switch tracks quickly and we have been able to witness amazing and lasting innovations come out of these past few years.  I admire our leaders as they are a team that encourages growth, supports success, and embraces members when there is loss. This board cares!

Get the most out of your MPI Georgia experience and JUMP IN and join a committee. We have all learned this past year to grow, learn as a person and an industry leader.  We have to think outside the box, be open to experience different things, and to develop new skills. Our chapter has worked hard to create a safe space to help us grow, to experiment with what works and to learn from what didn’t. 

I’m practicing what I preach as in July I will move to Vice President of Membership! Yes and I’m inviting you to join my team!  BUT, first, let’s enjoy an amazing Phoenix Awards 2021 with our MPI Georgia friends and rejoice in the successes of the past year.
