Happy Fall, MPI Georgia Members!

I don't know about you, but this back porch and sweater weather gives me all the feels! Yes, I did say "all the feels," but at least I didn't start by saying it's "PSL Season, Y'all!"

Do you ever find yourself in two headspaces? On the one hand, it's Mom mode, and I'm on the go constantly, still trying to figure out what I am cooking for dinner and understand how on earth we got so busy, and on the flip side, for work, I am planning the entire calendar for 2023.

It's an incredible balance and talent to juggle all the things we do as humans and an even more incredible feat to remain grateful for all that comes your way.

Speaking of gratitude-- it's been such a blessing to have found MPI Georgia. To be among others that understand the non-stop, are highly talented in their careers, graciously lend a hand or a suggestion without pause, push you to go outside your comfort zone, and support you through each chapter of your life and career.

I recalled being approached to volunteer by a board member back in 2020, and in my fear, I thought I didn't belong or wasn't an experienced planner to be involved. However, I am thankful for the encouragement. I got past the fear (because it's not real), got involved, and the knowledge has been shared because of what I have learned. The opportunities that have been presented far exceed the option of not taking a chance.

A few volunteer roles later, I now sit on the board. In everything you do, evolve. Don't settle; reach new boundaries, even in the unknown; you are capable and worthy! MPI Georgia, this community that surrounds you cares about your growth and your journey in every season.

"Don't limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve." —Mary Kay Ash.

I look forward to the chance to meet you, to continue to evolve together, and remain grateful for all the opportunities that unfold!
