Ted Basco, Visit Roswell, Group Sales Manager

Ted manages the overall sales efforts for Roswell's private event venues and growing hotel profile, along with serving as liaison between production companies and the City of Roswell on film permitting, logistics and closures. Hospitality and tourism has been his professional home for over 24 years, with experience in both Operations and Sales leadership roles with several different hotel brands (Westin, Marriott, InterContinental and Hyatt). He has a B.A. in Communications from San Francisco State University with an emphasis in Broadcast Production. 

This is Ted's second go-around with MPI Georgia.  He was previously a member in 2015 while serving as Director of Sales at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta. Ted was re-introduced to MPI Georgia through Andy Williams, MPI Georgia's Past-President. Throughout the years, he learned a great deal about the meeting industry through collaborating with clients and building long-lasting relationships with industry partners.

Outside of his work with Visit Roswell, Ted is a long-standing advisory board member with the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, coaches his son's little league baseball team and spends a majority of his time with family and friends.
