Alisa Peters serves as Chair-Elect of Events Industry Council’s CMP Governance Commission and is a Senior Global Account Manager for Experient, a Maritz Global Events Company. Her specialties include international and domestic meetings, contract analysis and negotiations, and meeting marketing. She has been recognizedby Experient in 2017, 2018 + 2019 as their Trusted Advisor of the Year. She has also served on the International Board of Directors of Meeting Professionals International.

Michael Dominguez serves as the President & CEO for Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI).   ALHI is a Global Sales Organization with a team of nearly 80 professionals located among 26 offices across North America and Europe, ALHI’s serves a membership group of hotels that are Independent Hotels & Independent Brands that are an exclusive luxury collection.   Prior to joining ALHI, Michael served in executive sales leadership roles with MGM Resorts, Loews Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, Starwood Hotels and many more.

Michael is actively involved in leadership roles in the Meetings and Events Industry and currently serves as a Past Chairman of the International Board of Directors for MPI.

Michael speaks in the industry often on topics of disruption, the state of the industry, the economy, behavioral lessons.  Michael was recognized in M&C Magazines survey of top industry speakers and was an invited speaker at South by Southwest in 2018.

Mike Waterman

 

Mike Waterman Chief Sales Officer 

 

Visit Orlando Mike Waterman became Chief Sales Officer for Visit Orlando August 2019. Prior to that he was President & CEO of the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau (GHCVB) also known as Visit Houston. The hospitality veteran has more than 30 years in the industry, and started his career in Orlando. Mike started his career at Marriott International, where he last served as Vice President of sales for the Western region overseeing 100 properties, including a grouping of Marriott hotels in Los Angeles' convention district known as L.A. Live. Waterman has held a series of executive positions with Marriott International over the last 26 years.  His wife Bridget and three boys reside in Winter Park.
