Counting Our Blessings!

To all of my Colleagues, friends and fellow MPI Gulf States Members:  

What a weird time we are in.  All affected deeply and ALL ON THE FRONT LINES OF HOSPITALITY representing our beautiful region. 

I am sure everyone feels exactly like me.. we are back in emergency response mode 24/7—totally exhausted, backaches and headaches and wondering when and how will this end?!!?  For us it is way too familiar— BUT we are the pros when facing adversity, rebuilding and restoring.  Just like WWII’s motto states “WE CAN DO THIS” and I know we can!!  Small victories mean so much more these days and certainly keep us going and fighting for the city we love.  Have you taken a minute to scroll through your recent pictures in your phone and see how life was just a few days ago?  Such happy and great times we have had every day feel like a year ago.  Sure makes you appreciate everything and everyone in your life.  We are crazy if we don’t sit and reflect on ALL of our blessings and they are so plentiful!! 

I was hoping that everyone could take a minute and share something you are so grateful for in our industry and maybe share something that is helping YOU get through this and/OR share some light you are seeing at the end of the tunnel.  Maybe it’s a new contract or a new client who is moving ahead with their meeting/program?  Truly anything that keeps us connected and inspired.  We have the best hospitality team in the world— this would be a great way to share with each other.
