Call For Nominations: Board of Directors 2020-2021

Our strong and vibrant MPI chapter relies on the dedication and outstanding service of our volunteers! Serving on the MPI Indiana Board of Directors is a great opportunity to build your professional skill set, expand your network, and contribute to the long-term success of the Indiana meetings industry. The Nominating Committee is currently seeking candidates to serve on the 2021-2022 Board of Directors taking office on July 1, 2021.

The Process

• With the current volunteer list/succession plan, current Board list, and applications from the membership, the Nominating Committee works to create a proposed slate for the next Board
• The current Board votes on the proposed slate (January)
• If approved, the slate is open for chapter membership feedback for 30 days (February)
• If no concerns are presented, the slate is approved and sent to MPI global (March)
• Each position is appointed for a 1-year term (July 1-June 30), most positions have a 2 term max

• Office of the President – President, President-Elect, and Immediate Past President
• Director, Leadership Development

• VP, Education
• Director, Education
• Director, Special Events

• VP, Communication
• Director, Communication

• VP, Finance
• Director, Sponsorships

• VP, Membership
• Director, Recruitment
• Director, Retention & Recognition
