What is the best thing about the meeting and events industry?

The positive energy and the knowledge that any given meeting or event positively touches each participant in some manner.

What do you hope to gain from your MPI membership?

I want to continue to grow my knowledge base regardless of how small or large. Really knowledge is never too small. Of course networking with my industry peers is always the utmost in importance.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment to date?

Obtaining my CMP AND CMM in the same year — actually within 90 days of each other. Not to mention finding my current professional role.

What do you enjoy most in your current role at work?

The entrepreneurial management mindset. I love the variety/flexibility, lack of routine, and the ownership that I have over our great city, in regards to representing my company.

What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t working?

I love spending time with my grand boys and their parents. If I am not doing that then I am partaking in a glass of wine or dark craft beer with my two life long best friends.

Graduating with a Master's in Leadership and Business Management at the end of September, finally! 😁
