Other than improving your Zoom meeting skills, what have you learned (or learned to excel in professionally) since March of 2020?

Flexibility! I have never been good at this which was why I became a planner; however, this past year we were all forced to be more flexible in our approaches to things and go with the flow as they say. I have not mastered this yet but have seen instances where it can be better to not have the original plan work out.

Who are you outside of work?

Outside of work I am a pet mom to a dog and two cats which are my world! You can find me watching way too much “trash TV” as my boyfriend calls it or hanging with friends/family.

Name a silver lining in your own work experience since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Making time…. time for me, family, friends, hobbies, etc. It was so easy to be like “i’ll get to it eventually” but since COVID I have learned you never know if there will be eventually so take the time now to do what you want/enjoy.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment to date?

Besides surviving 2020 lol… Being hired before I even finished school. This was a huge relief and to this day I couldn’t be happier in finding my home at RGI.

What MPI resources have you used to help you cope in 2020?

I have watched my fair share of webinars which have been super educational, but also really enjoy connecting on Coffee Chats with other IMPI members monthly.

In the last 6 months, have you been impacted by any Supply Chain Shortage when visiting (or ordering on-line) your grocery store?  TP doesn’t count!

No and if so, I have come to find I like the knock off brands better than the name brands sometimes 😊

What is the greatest place you have ever visited?

This is a tough one as so many great places. Wish I could say I have been to this really exotic place but haven’t got there yet (thanks COVID). My family has taken a lot of girls only trips over the years. One of those trips that stands out in my memory was when my grandma, mom, sister and I took a spring break trip one year to Savannah, GA. I love the historical charm of the south and we got to spend a lot of quality time together (always funny stories to come from those trips). Bonus we got to see the filming of the Baywatch movie featuring Dwayne “Rock” Johnson and Zach Efron.

Something people don’t know about you:

I am a HUGE Disney fan! If it is not traveling to Disney that is okay because I love traveling in general. It is a bucket list item of mine to visit all 50 states and I collect a sweatshirt from each place I visit as a visual check list.
