What is the best thing about the meeting and events industry?

MPI is a global organization but within the community it is a close-kit group.  You can reach out to other Chapters for help in their area and will get a response.

What do you hope to gain from your MPI membership?

By being a member of MPI, I gain a lot of knowledge from the programs and events that are provided to its members.  I also enjoy meeting the members at events.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment to date?

It would be hard to pick just one but I find complete satisfaction when I work with a planner and that relationship becomes a personal and professional friendship.

What do you enjoy most in your current role at work?

Working for General Hotels Corporation for the last 11 years has been a pleasure.  The support I have received has helped me to expand my professional career and I’m very appreciative to the organization.

What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t working?

People that know me are very aware of my love of cats.  I have three “children” and they constantly keep me entertained.  I also like attending concerts and dinner with friends.

I worked for a pro football team years ago.
