Cost: The 3 organizations are offering programming at one fee only - $35. This includes
in-person or virtual (member OR non-member).  Student fee is $25.

Meeting Professional International Indiana Chapter (MPI Indiana), Indiana Society of Association Executives (ISAE), and Minorities in Hospitality (MiH) have partnered to host "Getting Back to Business: Planning Live Events During the Pandemic", giving those planning their own events an opportunity to experience an in-person-event with maximum socially responsible measures in place - from an attendee's point of view.

This program will be held in-person and will feature all necessary socially responsible protocols from masks, socially distanced seating to no-contact, bar and networking.

The educational portion of this event will feature an expert panel that includes:

Jody Clevenger, Director of Operations with Horizon Convention Center
Barbara F. Dunn, Partner at Barnes & Thornburg, LLP; Immediate Past President, Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys; President (2017-2019); Board Member (2013-present)
Dr. Virginia Caine, Marion County Public Health Department

Attendees are encouraged to stick around after the education for socially responsible networking, bar, and trivia. Two drink tickets are included with each registration.

Uncomfortable attending in-person, but still want to participate? 

No problem! This event will be livestreamed. Please indicate your preference (attend in-person or view livestream) on the registration form.


Venue Details

Parking:  Free parking is provided in the back of the Horizon Convention Center (see signage all around the building). Main entrance is located in front of the building located on High Street and through the connected corridor.  Look for signage.

Overnight rooms are available at the Courtyard Muncie at Horizon Convention Center for $74 USD per night.
