Join us for the MPIKBC September Luncheon Meeting on Wednesday, September 25 in Lexington.  The topic of this event will focus on "Communities that Care" as we will learn from area experts the ins and outs of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as it relates to volunteerism and philanthropy. 

Learner Objectives:

  • Learn how to develop effective community service projects that support organizational objectives
  • Discover why it is important to address social impact at your meetings
  • Create a plan for including some social practices at your events

11:15 - 12:45 pm Lunch and Panel Discussion
1:00   - 1:15 pm   Depart Mane on Main for CSR Activity
1:15   - 3:30 pm CSR at God's Pantry*
  *Please note if you are not available to stay until 3:30 pm, feel free to leave at any time during the God’s Pantry portion of the event.   

About God's Pantry:
In Kentucky, 1 in 6 people are unsure about where they’ll get their next meal. God’s Pantry Food Bank serves 50 counties in Central and Eastern Kentucky in partnership with more than 400 food pantries and meal programs. 

Total food distributed in FY 2019:
39.7 million pounds

Fresh produce distributed in FY 2019:
13.7 million pounds

MPI KBC ATTENDANCE POLICY: All Essential Level members or non-members are limited to no more than two events in one fiscal year and must pay the Essential Level/Non-member rate. MPI Preferred or Premier Level members are welcome to attend all chapter events at the Member Price. 

Meeting cancellation notices received 72-hours prior to the event will receive a full refund.  Cancellation notices after the 72-hours prior to event deadline and no-shows are non-refundable.

About Mane on Main:
The Mane on Main is a private event space located at 201 East Main Street, on the 15th floor of the Chase Bank building in downtown Lexington. The 12,500-square-foot space was once the Lafayette Club, a private lunch and dinner club. The window-lined walls boast a breathtaking panoramic view of the beautiful Lexington skyline.  The space has been architecturally designed into several separate rooms that can be used for a variety of functions.
