11:45 AM -1:00 PM - Event Design Lab
This workshop is for change-makers who want an introduction to a new and different hands-on approach to understanding, designing, and delivering events that matter. The Event Canvas ™️ is being used by leading organizations like the UN, International Olympic Committee, and Google as a visual strategic management template for developing new innovations. We’ve adapted this process, based on stakeholder needs to develop and document successful event and conference models. The canvas enables teams within organizations to align their activities and get leadership aligned with the intended outcomes of the event. Building a thorough Event Canvas is achieved through a sequential, 10-stop methodology that employs a range of visual thinking techniques, including empathy mapping, experience journey, and instructional design modeling.
1:00 PM - 1:30 PM - Lunch & Networking
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM - Session II: Negotiations, Contracts and Community Partnerships
