2020-2021 MPIMP Award Nominations

Do you know a colleague who deserves to be in the spotlight? Here is your chance to recognize them for their contribution to the meeting industry!

Please submit your nomination(s) no later than Friday, April 30, 2021. You can nominate one person for each award. Candidates should meet a majority of the requirements listed on the form below and must be current MPIMP members in good standing.

Supplier of the Year Nominee:

Award Description: This award recognizes a supplier member who has made an outstanding contribution to MPIMP and the meeting industry during this past year.

Criteria:  Considerations include being a member of an industry-related association or organization; awards or other professional recognition; participation in MPIMP through committees, leadership or monthly meeting attendance; and, accreditation in their field.

Planner of the Year Nominee:

Award Description: This award recognizes a planner member who has made an outstanding contribution to MPIMP and the meeting industry during this past year.

Criteria:  Considerations include being an association or corporate planner; awards or other professional recognition; participation in MPIMP through committees, leadership or monthly meeting attendance; and, accreditation in their field.

Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Nominee:

Award Description: This award is given to a member who has made significant contributions to the chapter and the meeting industry during the year.

Criteria:  Considerations for this award include an outstanding voluntary effort for MPIMP during 2020-2021; active participant on one or more committees; planned, organized, or delivered a new and ongoing program for MPIMP; and, embodies the spirit of volunteerism.

NOTE: This award is open to both planners and suppliers excluding current MPIMP Board Members.

Young Professional Rising Star:

Award Description: This award recognizes a planner or supplier under 40 who has made significant contributions to MPIMP.

Criteria:  Considerations include five or less years of professional experience in the meetings and events industry; outstanding contributions to MPIMP and the meeting/events industry; and active participation in chapter meetings, committees or volunteering.

 

Recruiter of the Year:

No need for nominations in this category. The winner will be selected based on the number of new members he or she has recruited as of March 31, 2021.
