Worked for Marriott while in college and tried front desk, sales and ended up on the event side.

What is your favorite thing about our industry?
Creating unique experiences that will leave a lasting imprint on people's lives.  We give people memories that they will share with colleagues, family or friends.

What is the best career advice you’ve received?
If you have to choose between being kind and being right, choose being kind because you will always be right.

What is the most memorable event you have planned or client experience you have had?
An incentive trip to Montana.  Taking people out of their comfort zone and giving them an experience of a lifetime.  One that would not have done on their own.

If you were not in this industry, what would you be doing right now?
Working with dolphins!

If you woke up tomorrow as an animal, what animal would you be and why?
A dolphin. They live at the beach and are always smiling.

What is your all-time favorite movie?
The Holiday

Describe your perfect day off?
At the beach with my husband sitting in our beach chairs with a good book.
