This education event will center on the future of space tourism in New Mexico, and how planners and suppliers alike can be ready for this growing industry.
The state of New Mexico is home to 107 space companies, all of which enjoy the favorable business environment that New Mexico offers those focused on space tourism. New Mexico offers many training and tax incentives to those interested in relocating to the state to explore space tourism. In addition to these training and tax incentives, the state also boasts a long-standing presence in the aerospace and defense industry, among many other industries that perfectly tie into the space tourism industry.
As most of us are aware, Truth or Consequences, is home to Spaceport America. Spaceport America is the world's first purpose-built commercial spaceport, and it’s practically in our backyard! Some of the most respected companies in the commercial space industry are tenants at Spaceport America: Virgin Galactic, HAPS Mobile/AeroVironment, UP Aerospace, and SpinLaunch.
