Our Brave and Optimistic New World: Setting Realistic Expectations with Partners, Vendors and Venues

November 16, 2021
4:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Meritage Resort & Spa
875 Bordeaux Way
Napa, CA
Organizer

It’s been a long 20 months for the entire world. As we emerge from remote working, non-stop Zoom calls and taking our first steps into the live event space again, let’s talk about how we navigate this new space together. How is staffing impacting our own worlds as well as the vendors and venues we partner with? Where have all the event planners and partner contacts gone? Have you started to re-think your post-COVID strategies?

If you think you’ve got things figured out and it’s back to business as usual, well think again! You could be in for a huge surprise. This provocative and interactive panel / audience discussion will give you the tools you need to navigate the waters of getting live events back on the slate again. Some takeaways from this event will include:

• What you need to do right now to prepare your attendees for going face to face again.
• When venues say they are “open for business,” what does that really mean?
• Compare your onsite COVID protocols to those from other organizations.
• How to be flexible during our re-learning stage over the next 24 months.
• How attendee behaviors have grown in complexity and what you can do to navigate their new needs.
• Is your event at risk? The answer is more than likely, yes. What can you do to mitigate and provide solutions to those risks?

Join us Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Meritage Resort and Spa Napa for MPI Northern California’s first face to face educational event since early 2020.
Please make note prior to registration of MPINCC’s attendee guidance as it relates to your safety and security around COVID-19. NOTE:This event will be held indoors at Meritage Resort and Spa, Napa.

MPINCC’s top priority is the health and safety of its members. We are actively monitoring all policies and measures to protect our community.
