2020 - 2021 MPI Pittsburgh Board of Directors

As an MPI Pittsburgh member for 6 years, with 5 of those years serving on the Chapter’s Board of Directors Dan is so humbled to be the Chapter President for the 2020-2021 term. Dan’s experience with MPI has flourished his professional career and has given him a lifetime of industry friends, and colleagues. Outside of MPI and work Dan enjoys hanging out with his friends and family, sitting by a pool sipping on a margarita, or in the cooler months curled up by a fire eating a smore. In his day job he is a Private Event Sales Manager at the Gateway Clipper Fleet where his primary focus is weddings and special events. One thing that Dan loves about MPI is meeting all of the members and connecting with them on a monthly basis at events!

Megan joined the MPI board in 2019 and serves as President Elect. She presently holds the Event Manager position at Nova Place. Her passion for the Pittsburgh Hospitality community and desire to expand on her education brought her to MPI. In her downtime, she loves to entertain, explore the great outdoors and spend time with her family.


Gloria Minutello is entering her six year on the MPI Pittsburgh Board of Directors as the Immediate Past President. During her time on the board, Gloria has served in the Finance, Membership, Education, and Office of the President roles. Gloria enjoys how much MPI Pittsburgh has found her a sense of community in the events industry of Pittsburgh. She loves the education and networking opportunities the chapter puts on yearly. Gloria is the current Director of Facilities Presentation at California University of Pennsylvania.


Tracy Anderson helps corporate planners create meaningful and productive experiences for their annual conferences, board meetings, trainings, product launches, sales meetings, and more at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown.  While out of the office she usually walks, hikes or bikes with her dog Vail or works on her next DIY home improvement project.


Taylor Bombalski is the Director of Event Planning & Special Programs at the Pittsburgh Technology Council. Prior she worked at the Engineers Society of Western PA as their International Water Conference Manager. Currently, she is working to achieve her Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certification. When not working, you can find Taylor coaching High School Girls Soccer, officiating soccer or playing soccer. 


Nicole is beginning her second term on the MPI Pittsburgh Board of Directors She has been involved with MPI since her college years at Indiana University of Pennsylvania studying Hospitality Management and has continued to get more involved as she has built her career. She is now working at The Embassy Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh-Downtown as a Catering Sales Manager. She is in charge of all weddings and social events and has such a huge passion for planning events.



Dayna is excited to be on MPI Pittsburgh Chapter’s Board of Directors as the Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Communications. Dayna Joined in October of 2018 to learn how to better advance herself in the professional planning world and to network around the city of Pittsburgh. Dayna is currently the Director of Events and Special Projects for the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International affairs, as well as the founder of Dayna Scott Events, a local Day of Coordination and Event Planning Service.  Dayna loves to hike with her husband and two dogs and dance around the living room with her son.

Helena Stone recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a focus on marketing.  Through various internships and job opportunities during her time at Pitt, she gained experience, as well as an interest, in meeting planning and hospitality.  Due to the pandemic, she was furloughed from her position as an event coordinator assistant at Nova Place Events and now is working in food & beverage and banquets at The Pittsburgh Golf Club.
