MPI Pittsburgh Membership Team

Certificate Maker:

• Reports to the VP of Membership
• Create certificates for milestone members and volunteers
• This position will start in April
• Certificates will be presented at the May Gala
• 3-5 hours expectancy of volunteering

End of the Year Surveyor:

• Reports to Director of Leadership Development
• Create questions for the MPI Pittsburgh community to fill out
• Categories of questions can range from education subjects, overall satisfaction of the chapter, how the board can make the chapter better, etc.
• This is a great volunteer opportunity for students or new members in the chapter.
• 5-10 hours of volunteering throughout the months of March-June.

Welcome Ambassadors:

• Reports to the VP of Membership, Director of Member Care, Director of Leadership Development
• Will stand and great each member or attendee who arrives to a chapter event
• Network with each member or attendee make him or her feel comfortable
• 1 hour of volunteering
• This position is a month-to-month volunteer opportunity

Member Retention:

• Reports to Director of Member Care
• Email current members who are up for renewal
• Email MPI Global incentives for current MPI Members not just renewal incentives but other items from Global
• Create marketing materials for current members in regards to renewals and other items
• 4 hours per month

New Member Recruiting:

• Reports to VP of Membership
• Assist in finding new local event companies and planners
• Email potential members about new membership incentives from Global and the value of MPI Pittsburgh
• Attend other event industry events with someone from the MPI Pittsburgh membership team in networking our organization
• Create marketing materials in regards to joining MPI
• 4 hours per month
