The Rocky Mountain Chapter (MPIRMC) is an affiliate of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the meeting and event industry's largest and most vibrant global community with 13,000+ members in belonging to 71 countries and 70 chapters and clubs worldwide. The MPI Rocky Mountain Chapter was the first chapter recognized in 1973 and strives to continue to be the leader in the industry.  The Rocky Mountain Chapter was recognized as Chapter of the Year in 2006 (last year awarded) and is regularly recognized as a High Performing Chapter and/or Honorary Achievement Chapter.

Awards Partnership Expectations: Awards for our Annual Gala on June 23, 2023

MPIRMC wants to work with an awards partner for our Annual Gala which is scheduled to take place on June 23, 2023.  We are looking for a supplier that does not charge set-up fees, personalization fees, shipping fees, rush charges or any other fees associated with the creation of the awards. Note: The Meeting Professionals International Rocky Mountain Chapter is 501 C3 organization under Internal Revenue Services codes. Your donation may be deductible as a business expense or personal deduction. Check with your accountant. Tax ID#840705818.  All monetary donations will go first to offset MPIRMC chapter expenses and educational programs. All MPIRMC recognition and sponsorship advertising benefits can be upgraded for additional fees.

MPIRMC does have a limited budget for the purchase of the actual awards (Up to $1,000 for Membership Awards and $1,000 for Board of Director Awards - see MPIRMC Sponsorship Benefits here.

MPIRMC will need to know the turn-around time of the awards so we know when to order and when to supply the names of individuals for each award.  We need Awards to arrive no later than June 21, 2023 to the MPI Office at 7300 W. Stetson Place, Unit 41, Littleton, CO  80123. 

Listed below are the award categories for an estimated total of 28 awards.

  • Planner of the Year (1)
  • Supplier of the Year (1)
  • Rising Star (1)
  • Outstanding Committee Chair (1)
  • Hospitality Award of Excellence (2)
  • Industry Award of Excellence (1)
  • Industry Legacy Award in Honor of Sandy Gerety (1) - Please note: this award may or may not be given each year.
  • The President’s Award of Excellence (up to 3)
  • Board of Director Awards (17):  They are individual awards which are all the same. If they do differ, it’s in color only and all are personalized.  

*For the awards listed above, each requires imprinting (customization) of some type which identifies the award, the year and the recipient’s name.

In exchange for this sponsorship, MPIRMC will give the sponsoring company benefits from the MPIRMC Sponsorship Benefits (see benefits here) based on 50% of the retail value of the sponsorship.  We welcome 100% of in-kind sponsorship for the awards but ask that all awards are within budget above.
