Are you a student or emerging event professional? Join us at #GMID20 for Connect Up, a unique mentorship opportunity held just prior to MPI Toronto’s official GMID programming and networking reception.

Connect Up is a peer-to-peer learning and networking program led by industry experts where mentees explore specific facets of the event industry in various learning zones. Join us to participate in a dynamic knowledge exchange on A/V and innovative event technology, event planning career tips, best practices for the planner-supplier relationship, and the power of your network and MPI.

New this year: To increase the mentor to mentee ratio, each zone topic will be facilitated at two tables by two unique Connect Up mentors. Read more about zones and confirmed mentors here:

GMID 2020: Sustainability – Worth Meeting About

Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) brings together leaders from across the meetings and events industry to showcase the real impact that business meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive travel, trade shows and exhibitions have on people, business and communities. Meeting professionals across the world participate in this international day of advocacy. In 2019, there were 275 events in 42 countries around the world.
