BSWA is a self-guided program that includes group coaching in REVIVE, a private membership group to answer questions, provide additional support, bring in guest experts (registered dietitians, sleep scientist etc.) and help you put what you learn into practice.
By the end of the program, you will be equipped with all the tools you need to:

Dr. Kim Bercovitz
Dr. Kim Bercovitz is a health behavior scientist (Ph.D. in Community Health from the University of Toronto where she was an adjunct professor), former National Cancer Institute of Canada postdoctoral fellow, and a knowledge translation expert. BSWA is the culmination of her 30 years of research, teaching and coaching in healthy active living policy, disease management, addictions and tobacco control. She worked at renowned Toronto teaching hospitals, consulted to pharmaceutical companies and health organizations, and taught chronic disease exercise classes. To augment her academic career, Dr. Kim is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance accredited yoga instructor, American College of Sports Medicine accredited pole walking instructor, BoneFit trained (Osteoporosis Canada), and trained in diabetes and older adult exercise, wellness coaching, and mindfulness-based stress reduction.
