C2C: Connections to Careers

C2C: Connections to Careers

By MPI Foundation

Participants have multiple opportunities to network and forge relationships with high level employers from all sides of the events industry, giving them ample options to advance their personal and professional career growth.

There is a need to properly mentor the next generation of event management professionals by giving them a chance to work alongside seasoned pros. C2C begins with event-specific education – including business etiquette, event management skills, networking approaches, and more, all while engagement with industry leaders to discuss the present and future of the industry.

Following the education component, participants dive into on-site training. They learn everything from registration, entertainment management, décor, and day-of production. The most defining portion of the program is the experiential learning side; aside from hearing all this information, participants have the chance to experience the challenges and triumphs of managing a large-scale event with their own hands.
