“In September 2009 I became a member of MPI. I didn’t sit on the sidelines waiting for the ROI, I got involved on a committee. By 2010 I was serving on the Southern California Chapter Board of Directors. Having served in many roles over 8 years, I better understood the needs of our community. In 2017 I became the youngest president in the chapter’s 40 year history and it changed everything.
I had a strong voice to tell my story. I emphasized that our chapter was more than an industry association, it was a community. A community that gives back to those that invest into it. The heart of our community and its ability to succeed is driven by its members.”
