What are the room rates for WEC 2024?
Room rates will range from $187++ to $269++ per night. All hotels within our blocks are in a walkable distance from the Kentucky International Convention Center.
How will I get from the airport to the hotel?
The city of Louisville has Uber, Lyft, and taxis available after baggage claim to assist you.
I want to make my hotel reservation but can’t find the hotel links.
You will need to register for the conference in order to gain access to our housing platform to make your reservation. You will not receive the negotiated rate if you attempt to book directly with any of the conference hotels.
I would like to extend my trip in Louisville; can I do that?
Of course, we would love for you to stay longer and enjoy everything Louisville and the surrounding area has to offer. We will have the conference room rate available for 3 days pre/post the conference (as hotel availability allows).
What is the dress code?
Daytime conference attire is business casual. Our signature parties will be themed, so be on the look out for an email in the future regarding the themes.
What meals are included in the conference registration?
Lunch on May 21 & 22 are included in your conference registration. All other meals are on your own.
What are the evening activities?
Monday, May 20 - Opening Celebration
Tuesday, May 21- Presidents dinner & Rendezvous *Separate tickets required*
Wednesday, May 22 - Closing Celebration - disco-themed!
How do I get to the evening activities?
Transportation will be provided for the Opening, Presidents Dinner and Rendezvous events. The location of the Closing Celebration is walkable from all hotels within the block.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
Deadline to cancel your WEC registration and get a partial refund is Friday, May 13, 2024. Cancellations must be received by the stated cancellation deadline and will be accepted in writing only. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. A cancellation fees of $150 will be deducted from the registration fee. No shows for the event will not receive a refund. All refund requests must be made by the registered attendee or credit card holder and include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used, no later than (30) days after cancellation has been approved. Please send written cancellations to wecreg@mpi.org.
Are there any scholarships available for WEC Louisville?
Yes! MPI Foundation is offering a variety of scholarships to WEC Louisville! Scholarships are available for students, planners and suppliers. Plus, from our partners at Simpleview and Digital Edge Marketing, we have scholarships available for DMO and CVB industry members. The deadline to apply is February 25, 2024, with notifications in late March. Click here to apply.
