The Board Development Committee has confirmed the incoming Regional Council Chairs and Vice Chairs for 2026. The full roster for each 2026 Regional Council is available here: CLRP > Office of the President Documents > Office of President Roles > 2026 Regional Council Roster.
Shannon Jones, MPI Tennessee Chapter, will continue to serve as the President of the Council of Regional Chairs which is comprised of all eight Regional Council Chairs who come together quarterly to share the work being done within each region.
Every MPI Chapter is required to hold an annual meeting per our governance documents. Recently the MPI Chicago Area Chapter hosted their Annual Meeting virtually and they have granted permission to share their Annual Meeting PowerPoint with all Chapters as part of our best practice sharing. Note the inclusion of all departments with an overview of success from the current year. The virtual meeting closed with the installation of their incoming Board of Directors. As we approach the close of the 2025 term, please review your Chapter Dashboard in its entirety for errors or missing information. If information requires updating, please use the Missing Dashboard Information template and submit it to your Regional Operations Manager.
Thank you to all the Chapters, Clubs, and members who helped promote the Cyber Monday membership offer. Your emails, social media efforts, and other outreach helped make the campaign a success. The promotion brought in nearly 700 new memberships and renewals.
Does your Chapter/Club offer a member orientation? If you do not offer new members a monthly orientation, please encourage your new members to join the MPI New Member Orientation. By attending orientation, your new members will engage with other MPI members worldwide and learn about opportunities for them to advance their knowledge and connections across MPI.

Please plan to share this exciting offer on all Chapter channels. To help you with this, a toolkit for the promotion (including all the digital files and FAQ) is available on the Chapter Leader Resource Page. You will find it under Chapter Toolkits > Monthly Toolkits.
As shared during the November Chapter Leader All Hands Call, MPI will begin issuing rebate payments on a quarterly basis to reduce fees and be more efficient. Additional information, along with the payment schedule, can be found in the CLRP > Finances > Budgeting.
The MPI office will be closed December 22, 2025 – January 2, 2026. Happy Holidays! and we will see you in the New Year.
Chapter Administrators – as a reminder, please be sure that when you are adding new forms to your website you are dragging and dropping a “CAPTCHA” field right before the submit button. This will prevent spam bots from hitting your forms and sending hundreds (or thousands) of notifications through. We had a bot hit the website over the weekend that caused some havoc. IT has gone through and made sure the forms in question all have a CAPTCHA field added, but please make sure you are adding these moving forward. Feel free to reach out to support@mpiweb.org if you have any questions!
MPI’s Anti-Human Trafficking Committee is ending our year together on a high note, recognizing the accomplishments and looking to the future. This committee continued the Ambassador program, which provides every Chapter/Club with an AHT liaison; presented at both Chapter Leadership Summit and GMID / Global Meetings Industry Day; hosted an AHT speaker session at WEC; welcomed three AHT experts to committee calls for invaluable learning opportunities; enhanced the committee’s social media presence; led a virtual training for all chapter leaders on providing AHT content to their Chapters/Clubs; worked with MPI Global to create an information webinar that will be available for all Chapter/Club members to view in the MPI Academy.
The committee is excited to welcome Jill Rasco as the Chair for 2026 – 2027. From the outgoing Chair Jennifer Berkemeier – I'm so thankful for our stellar team this year; thank you for your dedication and passion for this cause!
