Communities

One Chapter. A World of Impact

When an MPI chapter brings human trafficking awareness to its members, the impact doesn’t stop when the program ends. Those meeting professionals take what they’ve learned into hotels, venues, events, workplaces and communities, sharing knowledge that can help others recognize the signs of trafficking and know how to respond. With chapters around the world, that ripple effect can be powerful.

Your MPI Anti-Human Trafficking Committee and Chapter Ambassadors are here to help you keep those conversations going. Reach out to your Chapter Ambassador, or to either Jen Berkemeier, Past Chair at jberkemeier@huntingtonplacedetroit.com or Jill Rasco, Chair, jill@attendeenet.com.

MPI Foundation

Here’s what we are celebrating in SEPTEMBER:

theEVENT In Vancouver takes place next week (Sept 14-16)

Plans are ready to go, and the MPI Foundation is all in. On one hand, we will celebrate more than 20 Foundation Scholarship Winners who have secured their seat at this Canadian event. With the other hand, we’ll be raising money with an on-site raffle featuring six unique prizes donated by our amazing supplier community. AND Tuesday night, we will have all hands in the air to celebrate another terrific CLUB’Vous at theEVENT. Learning, having fun and having a purpose is a fantastic way to celebrate. “\😊/”

What if … you could celebrate too? Add one fundraising activity for your chapter between now and December. Imagine how good you’ll feel supporting MPI Members just like you.
