Chapter Champion

2023 Award Recipient: MPI Italia

In 2022, the very first MPI Chapter was awarded the title of Chapter Champion. MPI Poland’s efforts to assist Ukrainian hospitality students in 2022 who were impacted by the Russia-Ukraine War catapulted them to be our inaugural champion. Their selfless request to help hospitality students prompted a community-wide call to raise funds. These funds were matched by the MPI Foundation. Together, over 20 students were able to continue their studies in Poland, keeping a measure of continuity in lives shattered by hardship.

Our 2023 Chapter Champion Award goes to the incredible MPI Italia. Using an amazing destination as a gathering point, MPI Italia has created an annual event around the Venice International Film Festival called the Movie Charity Auction. And because of this collaboration, for the past 3 years, MPI Italia has donated over $17,000 to help our efforts in supporting chapters and individuals across the globe.
