Stephen Revetria oversees the strategy and vision for Giants Enterprises – the entrepreneurial arm of the San Francisco Giants and one of the top hospitality, event, entertainment and sports consultancy teams in the world. Currently in his 19th year, Revetria joined the company in 1999, just as the Giants moved into AT&T Park. As the Senior Vice President, he is dedicated to developing new ventures beyond the Major League Baseball franchise in addition to increasing the visibility and use of AT&T Park, Pier 48, Lot A, The Gotham Club, The Yard at Mission Rock, Giants Maritime Services and projects which leverage the organization's resources and capabilities.

Under Revetria's leadership, Giants Enterprises has received international recognition for the execution of its events during the 2007 All-Star Game and the 2010, 2012 & 2014 World Series, including, the Official World Series Galas and ticker-tape parades. He also played an integral role in the development and creation of the first dedicated full-time events team at a privately financed Major League ballpark.

A Bay Area native and graduate of The University of San Francisco, Revetria has extensive experience in planning, advising and fundraising for civic affairs. He is dedicated to countless local initiatives with the goal of improving, enhancing and developing The City by the Bay. As a passionate business, hospitality and event professional, Revetria has forged invaluable partnerships on the local, national and international levels to further the mission of not only Giants Enterprises, but also San Francisco as a premier destination for events, meetings and travel.

Revetria has been involved in the meetings and events industry since 1992 and recently served as Chairman of the Meeting Professionals International Foundation, which held the 2015 World Education Congress (WEC) in San Francisco. He co-chaired WEC in 2015, which won an ILEA Live Esprit Award for "Best Event Produced for a Non-Profit".

Revetria sits on the University of San Francisco Board of Trustees and helps to shape the direction of the University's highly respected Business Administration, Hospitality Management program. Through this program, graduates develop into the hospitality business leaders of tomorrow by working in partnership with San Francisco's leading hospitality firms and organizations. A well-structured internship requirement of 800 hours in the industry provides students with invaluable hands on experience. Through the development of a unique internship program, Revetria has hired more than 60 interns to Giants Enterprises and consistently pulls from the University of San Francisco and San Francisco State Hospitality Programs. He also helped to conceptualize the Pat Gallagher Internship Program, which rewards a college student with a year-long, rotating internship within the San Francisco Giants organization.

Revetria takes a holistic approach to the industry in promotion of his staff to participate in local and national association work. His steadfast loyalty and belief in prioritizing association volunteerism and active participation has directly resulted in employees of his becoming Presidents and integral board members on local meeting associations. Throughout his tenure, he has donated not only his personal time, but made significant financial contributions out of Giants Enterprises' budget to the betterment of associations with consistent donations to local MPI, PCMA and ILEA associations and on the national and international level to MPI Foundation and ILEA Global Partners Program. As a result, Giants Enterprises has fostered a culture that stresses professional development and active involvement.

From 2014-2015, Revetria served as the chair of the San Francisco Travel Association, where he presided over the board of directors and the executive committee. In this capacity, he directed and guided policy at all meetings involving partners of San Francisco Travel, the executive committee and the board of directors. San Francisco Travel's mission is to enhance the local economy by marketing San Francisco and the Bay Area as the premier destination for conventions, meetings, events and leisure travel. Acting as a specialized economic development agency, San Francisco Travel works to promote the destination worldwide while ensuring that tourism, the top generator of outside revenue into the city's economy, is kept in the forefront as citywide decisions and policies are made. During his chairmanship, SF Travel successfully hosted Meeting Professionals International's World Education Congress and set record-breaking tourism numbers in 2015, including welcoming 24.6 million visitors to San Francisco (an increase of 2.7 percent from 2014).

In October 2016, Revetria attended the inaugural Sport at the Service of Humanity Conference arranged by Pope Francis at the Vatican. The invite-only global conference convened leaders and influencers from the world of faith, sport and business to discuss the inter-connectedness of Faith and Sport. In order to turn the idea from concept to reality, the Vatican invited a select group of individuals representing the various stakeholder groups to help develop the strategy, shape the agenda and provide ideas to bring the concept to life.

Currently, Revetria and his team are hard at work in preparations for hosting the Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018 at AT&T Park. This massive, international sporting event represents the first time in U.S. history that the RWC Sevens tournament will be hosted on American soil. Featuring 40 teams from 28 countries across six continents, all eyes in the Rugby world will be fixed upon AT&T Park this summer.

Revetria has won numerous industry awards, including but not limited to: MPINCC Sponsor of the Year (2002-2003), MPINCC Hall of Fame (2011-2012), MPINCC President's Award (2006-07, 2008-09), MPINCC Supplier of the Year (2004), MPI Foundation – 3rd Place Fundraiser (2011-12), MPI Foundation US Council (2009-11) in addition to leading Giants Enterprises to numerous group honors winning Gala Awards, ILEA Esprit Awards, and GMIC NCC Facility of the Year (2012-13 & 2016-17).
