“Thank you for your patience. We are severely short staffed.”
“I’m offering top of the line pay and benefits but I cannot seem to get quality candidates to apply for my position.”
“I’m tired of working 60+ hours per week with no recognition or appreciation.”

Listening to our colleagues and friends in the Hospitality industry (and in any industry!), we know that hiring and retention are at the forefront of everyone’s minds. Join us on September 29 for a discussion related to all things employment. Natalie Weaver, VP of Human Resources at Liberty Bank will present strategies for hiring talent (getting them in the door), tips on understanding employees in different generations (what motivates them to do their best work), and setting boundaries as a dedicated employee (retaining them once they’re a part of your team). Employees and employers are both experiencing this seismic shift in the workplace…let's discuss it together!

Session Learning Outcomes:

An innovative, dynamic HR Executive with 20 years of experience in Talent Management, Diversity & Inclusion, Organizational Design and Effectiveness, Change Management, Talent Acquisition, Leadership Development, and Performance Management. Natalie thrives in fast-paced environments, is a fast learner, and effectively balances marriage, kids, and work. Natalie was born in Jamaica, grew up between Toronto and New York City, and considers her unique, diverse upbringing an advantage. Due to her experiences growing up, she remains passionate about diversity at work and continues to bring inclusivity in all forms constantly. During her tenure with Pitney Bowes, Natalie was involved in the transformation of the Human Resources Department and the launch of the newly created centralized New Hire Fulfillment Team. She transitioned to TD Bank, where she held several Human Resources leadership roles, partnering with business leaders to launch newly created business segments, organizational restructuring, and building employee capabilities. Since then, it has been a steady ride upwards, with Natalie holding higher managerial and directorial positions. Formerly a Director of Human Resources at Travelers, an AVP of Human Resources at Voya Financial, and currently a VP of Human Resources at Liberty Bank, she is head of the bank's Human Resources Business Partner function.
