It’s been a long hard road to recovery from COVID-19’s impact on our industry. From fist bumps and foot shakes to masking and quarantine, from working from home to hybrid work environments, the pandemic has brought more than its share of challenges. And as we eagerly seek a measured return to face-to-face meetings, we are simultaneously balancing concerns over the Delta variant with ways to come together once again safely and considerately.

Now that doors have started to open, what have we learned during the past 18 months? We have managed to stay connected virtually, but has a year and a half of social distancing deactivated our social skills? Have we lost touch with our human side? Have we become like Star Trek’s Commander Data, an android who struggles with being perceived as human?

If you feel your humanity could use a reboot, not to mention a refresher on the new etiquette as we continue to navigate pandemic-related concerns, this program is for you.
Join us on September 23rd for The Courtesy Cure – Rebooting our Etiquette with Mister Manners, Thomas P. Farley. Thomas will share some lessons from the pandemic, along with tips and tricks for reentering society as a better version of ourselves than before. Banish your android tendencies and reemerge as a human being once again.

What will you learn?
  • Greetings and Salutations: From fist bumps to hugs, what’s appropriate, and what does a friendly hello even look like anymore?
  • Your Virtual Self: Video calls are here to stay. Are you presenting the best version of you on-camera?
  • Making Meaningful Connections: How do we remain in contact when so many colleagues are still uneasy about COVID? How do we keep our network vibrant when so many have have changed or lost jobs, and still others have moved to places far away from it all?
Plus, to add a little humor to the evening Dan Altano, NY stand-up comedian, will host the evening, kicking things off with his spin on where we may have lost our human side. Thomas and Dan will collaborate to reboot our business etiquette in an informative and humoristic way.

Get your courtesy cure; the etiquette vaccine you need.
