MPIGNY & God’s Love We Deliver Volunteer Activity - October

Join us for another fun and fulfilling group volunteer opportunity at 
God’s Love We Deliver. 

This organization holds a special place in our hearts and we look forward to returning once again next month to help out in the kitchen prepping and preparing meals for our city's most vulnerable. Won't you join us?

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20
4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Clothes must cover your shoulders, underarms, knees, and toes (with closed-toe shoes).  Watches, bracelets, dangling earrings must be removed. You can bring your own hat! Masks and gloves will be provided.

Please make note of the COVID-19 protocols currently in place:

• All volunteers are required to wear a mask, covering nose and mouth, while volunteering at God’s Love unless you are actively eating or drinking.
• All volunteers must continue to be fully vaccinated without exception.
• All deliveries will continue to be contactless.
• Please refrain from volunteering at God’s Love if you’re not feeling well.
• If you contract COVID or have been in proximity of someone who tests positive, please do not volunteer at God’s Love for ten days from the date of the positive test.
• Please let the Volunteer Department know immediately if you have tested positive for COVID within ten days of your most recent shift.

PLEASE NOTE: Each volunteer MUST sign up for this event, and we ask all volunteers to arrive 15 minutes prior their shift for self-check-in and a quick orientation. Please read the attached document regarding GLWD's COVID vaccination protocols. Those who are not vaccinated will be unable to volunteer.

God’s Love We Deliver is located in SoHo at 166 Avenue of the Americas, convenient to the C or E train at Spring Street or the 1 train at Houston Street. The entrance is on the corner of Spring Street and 6th Avenue.

If you sign-up and are unable to make your shift, please cancel your session online, AND contact Marisa Wilkes, so that she can try to find a replacement.
