Volunteer with Publicolor

Publicolor is an innovative educational youth development organization that empowers students facing immense life challenges for academic and career success through a multi-year project-based continuum of programs.

We have four volunteer spots available.

Paint alongside Publicolor students and informally mentor them by talking about your education and career. This dialogue introduces Publicolor youngsters to a much wider variety of job options than ever imagined and encourages them to stay in school. Engagement in this type of high-level conversation is a greater indicator of academic success than family income.

Please wear painting clothes and shoes. Publicolor uses odor-free latex paint that will wash out of your hair and skin but not out of your clothes. We will provide gloves for painting upon request. No painting experience necessary. Help us transform a struggling public school alongside some wonderful students.

Lunch will be provided.
