Applications are now being accepted for the 2027 MPI Greater New York Chapter Board of Directors!

This is your opportunity to help shape the future of one of MPI's most dynamic chapters.

Coming off an incredible year that included earning a prestigious MPI RISE Award, MPI Greater New York Chapter continues to build momentum, strengthen our community, and deliver meaningful experiences for our members. We are looking for passionate leaders who are ready to contribute their talents, grow professionally, and help guide our chapter into its next chapter of success.

Applicants must be members in good standing with MPI Greater New York. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated leadership experience within MPIGNY, MPI, or other professional organizations; however, all qualified and enthusiastic members are encouraged to apply.

Applications must be submitted by June 12,2026

Board Interviews: June 15 - 26, 2026
Board Slate For Chapter Approval: July 1, 2026
Board Term: January 1 – December 31, 2027

BOARD MEMBER COMMITMENT

Serving on the MPIGNY Board requires a dedicated one-year commitment. Applicants should be prepared to remain actively engaged throughout their term.

Minimum expectations include:

• Attend monthly virtual Board meetings (approximately 1–2 hours)
• Attend two in-person Board Retreats annually (Spring and Winter; typically 2–4 days each)
• Schedule and lead committee meetings, typically on a monthly basis
• Maintain engagement with committee members and ensure progress toward chapter goals
• Dedicate additional time as needed to support committee initiatives and chapter programs

Vice Presidents are also expected to attend a monthly Executive Committee meeting.
