AI Strategy Quest: Imagining the Future of Event Planning

Ready to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can support your work as an event professional? In this interactive workshop, you’ll go on a creative journey to design your ideal event planning process—powered by AI, but grounded in human connection. 

We’ll start with a simple overview of how AI is being used in the events world today. Then, you’ll team up with others to take on a fun, table-based challenge. As your team moves through each phase of event planning—from early ideas to marketing, the live experience, and post-event wrap-up—you’ll collect cards that represent different AI tools or strategies. For each choice, you’ll also discuss real-world questions like: How would this work in practice? What policies or concerns should we keep in mind?

You’ll earn points for building a thoughtful, well-rounded event strategy—one that uses AI in smart ways while still putting people first. The workshop wraps up with each team sharing their approach and getting helpful feedback from peers and facilitators.
