Overall Excellence Chapter Award

MPI New England Chapter Awards

Each year, our chapter gathers together to recognize the talents, skills, accomplishments, and dedication of our members and industry colleagues. We strongly encourage all of our members to consider nominating themselves or a fellow chapter member for consideration. Check back to find out when nominations for this year's awards open!

This scholarship award is presented annually to an MPI member from the New England Chapter to provide a full year of complimentary registration to all monthly educational chapter events excluding the Educational Institute. The candidate must present a rationale for receiving this scholarship, including why he/she/they would like to participate in Chapter educational events throughout the year, how this participation will benefit the candidate’s future professional goals, and how his/her/their participation will benefit the New England Chapter of MPI.

This award is intended to recognize the local commitment of a chapter member in influencing the life of the Chapter. The award is based upon the ability of the recipient to motivate others, impact chapter functions, provide a sense of purpose in the community, and act as a catalyst to cause exceptional results that benefit the local chapter and meetings industry.

The Meeting Professional of the Year - Planner recognizes a planner member who has made significant contributions to the meetings industry and is an exemplary representative of our profession. Nominees will be considered for professional experience, involvement in MPI, industry engagement, community service and recognition by their peers.

This award is presented to a supplier member who has made significant contributions to the meetings industry and is an exemplary representative of our profession. Nominees will be considered for professional experience, involvement in MPI, industry engagement, community service, and recognition by their peers.

This award is presented annually to an MPI member who has made new contributions to the association at the chapter level. The candidate must be a current member of MPI in good standing. The candidate must be employed as a full-time planner or supplier. This award recognizes a new and growing career in the events industry with a demonstration of involvement, commitment, and achievement on a chapter level.

This award is named in honor of an incredible young member of MPI New England, gone from us too soon but remembered always for her contributions to the chapter. To learn more about Dayna, click here.
