As MPI members, you spend most of your time making events happen for everyone else. Cvent CONNECT 2026 is one of the few moments where you can step back, sit in the attendee seat, and focus on your own growth.
What MPI Members Can Get Out of the Week
If you already use Cvent
For members who are in Cvent regularly, Cvent CONNECT is a chance to sharpen how you use it:
- Hands-on labs and workshops where you can practice and ask detailed questions
- 1:1 time with Cvent experts to talk through real scenarios from your own events
- User stories and case studies that show how others are driving attendance, engagement, and revenue
You walk away with workflows, reports, and ideas you can plug into your next planning cycle.
If you are newer to Cvent or event tech
If you are still building your toolkit, CONNECT can help you get comfortable quickly:
- Clear event planning best practices, from basics to more advanced tactics
- Live demos and tours that show what the technology actually looks like in use
- Plenty of peer conversation at roundtables, meals, and networking events
You come home with a better sense of what is possible and a group of peers you can stay in touch with.
Why This Event Stands Out for MPI Members
A few things about Cvent CONNECT line up especially well with what MPI members care about:
- You have a say in the tech you use
There are chances to sit with product teams, give feedback, and see how that shapes the roadmap. - Networking that feels useful, not forced
Case studies, interactive formats, and informal meetups make it easy to swap ideas and compare notes. - Content backed by real event data
Because Cvent supports a large volume of events, the benchmarks and takeaways are based on what is actually happening in the market. - Space for your whole event ecosystem
Leaders, planners, marketers, and technologists all have sessions designed for their roles, which makes it easier to align as a team while you are onsite.
How This Shows Up in the Agenda
- Cvent Academy Training Camp
CMP-accredited, hands-on sessions on registration, Attendee Hub, Passkey, Event Diagramming, reporting, CventIQ, and more. Most are scheduled on Monday, July 13, with repeats on Tuesday and Wednesday, which helps with planning around your priorities. - Innovation Pavilion
Time set aside to walk up to product experts, see roadmap items, test options in the Solution Lab, and book 1:1 strategy appointment. - Behind-the-scenes Tech Tours
Guided tours of the tech stack that runs Cvent CONNECT itself, from registration and check in to mobile, engagement tools, and trade show tech. If you like to understand how things really work, this is worth bookmarking.
Pricing and Timing: A Practical Check

- Trade Show Incentive Pass: $599
- Virtual: Free
After April 18, the Standard In-person rate goes to $1,199, and then to $1,299 on May 2.
What Other Event Professionals Are Saying
Here is how past attendees describe their experience:
“I was an attendee at the event instead of the planner running the event. It paints a whole new perspective when you get to attend an event as a participant versus being on the planning and execution side, and they certainly delivered a great one.”
LeighAnn Scott, Senior Event Planner, TD SYNNEX
“Let’s just say, the Event Professionals know how to host an event š š. I’ve returned to my desk with new ideas, insights, and energy to bring to my team.”
Sarah Noffert, Marketing Events Manager, Right At School
“[Cvent] CONNECT is always like coming home… it’s so nice – for 3 days a year – to be completely surrounded by people who know what I mean when I say ‘I build Cvent sites for a living.’”
Leanne Velky, Cvent Specialist, Leanne Velky Inc
For many MPI members, that combination of learning, connection, and time to reflect on your own craft is exactly what keeps the work feeling meaningful.
