Certified résumé writer

Dawn Rasmussen, a certified résumé writer, is the president of Portland, Ore.-based Pathfinder Writing and Career Services and author of “Forget Job Security: Build Your Marketability” which is the first-ever book that provides a complete roadmap on how manage your career.

She has many career accolades or high-profile media outlets where she has been featured, but what is most important to Dawn and is the one thing that makes her “tick”: a relentless and tireless desire to help everyone understand the importance of actively managing their career every minute of every day.

When she isn’t busy working with résumé clients, speaking to conference groups internationally and nationally, writing articles / blogs, or teaching, Dawn is hiking in Oregon’s spectacular outdoors, kayaking, or plotting her next adventure.

And you should know that her most recent adventure, during the COVID-19 pandemic, has been acting as a stand-in mama raising an abandoned fawn, Thor, who was found on her property. Yet another thing to put on Dawn’s own resume: Deer Mama!

Vimari Roman, CMM, GLCC, CPQC

Career transitions and professional branding

Vimari Roman helps professionals get out of paralysis analysis, gain confidence, and take massive action to find the career that moves them.

After 20 years of a successful career, Vimari found herself bored, frustrated and discouraged. She realized that she had outgrown her career, and was unmotivated to re-enter the job market. She feared the transition from doing work that supported her for so long, to doing work that followed her purpose and passion. Thankfully, her self-doubt did not last very long. In 2013, she earned her Certificate in Meeting Management (CMM) and started her first company, Be Productive Meetings & Events. She was blessed with a great start, but something was still missing…after attending Tony Robbins’ “Unleash the Power Within” and hiring a Coach, she discovered that her true passion has always been mentoring and strategizing the success of others.

In 2014, she received her Global Certificate in Leadership Coaching. She founded Be Productive Coaching and since then has been serving clients from all over the world working virtually. With over twenty years of experience in leadership, Vimari has successfully mentored and coached 100's of high-performing professionals in various industries assisting their transition into exciting and fulfilling jobs where they earn their worth!

Coaching Philosophy
“I believe coaching is transformational and a journey of self-discovery. Being a better communicator, finding your own unique voice and style, learning to navigate office politics, and laying the groundwork for your future career advancement are just a few of the areas I love coaching in. I also get that trying to maintain balance in your personal life can be even more challenging in our new hybrid, WFH world and the importance of having firm boundaries and a good self-care routine are paramount to achieving that. Lastly, I believe that no one should ever burn out of a career they love.”
