What are your concerns as live events begin to return?

By Meeting Professionals International | Jun 19, 2020

“We need to go back to live events to unleash the potential of one-to-one communication and foster business.”

Erica Monroe Hugo-Rosas Alessia Comis

“My most significant concern is the safety of my clients and myself during these live events. It seems that with everything going on in the world, we may not be fully ready to be outdoors, so I’m concerned that we may not all be prepared. My clients are very wary to return to meetings, so I am doing due diligence in gathering as much information to ease their concerns (mine as well).”

“How to convince the same quantity and quality of audience to participate.”

“My most significant concern is persuading our key stakeholders (people of influence in the Industry, hosted buyers, sponsors and attendees) to participate in a live event by guaranteeing their safety. There is nothing as powerful as professionals’ attitude and consequent behavior to favor a change in the Industry, and we all know we need to go back to live events to unleash the potential of one-to-one communication and foster business.”
