Volunteering

Our purpose is to serve the needs of our membership in the Greater Calgary Area by providing educational development and leadership opportunities, cultivating business relationships, supporting industry partnerships and demonstrating commitment to excellence in the meeting industry.

One way in which our members derive the most benefit from their membership is through volunteering. MPI Greater Calgary Chapter volunteers are vital to the Chapter and strengthen our community.

Volunteer involvement mutually benefits the volunteer and the organization

Through volunteer involvement, MPI Greater Calgary Chapter is able to accomplish its goals and we provide volunteers with opportunities to develop and contribute.

Volunteer involvement is based on relationships

Through volunteering you will develop new relationships as well as strengthen existing ones. Committee participation is one of the best ways to network with your peers.

Principles for Involvement

MPI Greater Calgary Chapter recognizes that volunteers are a vital human resource and commits to the appropriate infrastructure to support them. Volunteers have responsibilities, make a commitment and are accountable to MPI Greater Calgary Chapter.
